Our Sponsors

The Lions Bike Show simply wouldn’t be possible without the generous support of our sponsors. Their contribution helps us bring together motorcycle enthusiasts, families and the wider community for a great day out, while keeping the focus firmly on what the event is all about—raising funds to support our local community and Lions projects. We sincerely thank the businesses and organisations featured below for getting behind the Lions Bike Show and helping us make a real difference.

LEKI

LEKI Electric is a South Australian company bringing a very different kind of motorcycle to Australian roads. Established in 2023 and assembling its bikes in the Adelaide Hills, LEKI combines the familiar look and feel of a full-sized motorcycle with the simplicity, performance and low running costs of electric power.

LEKI’s philosophy is straightforward: these are real motorbikes – just electric. With no petrol engine, clutch or conventional gearbox, riders simply twist the throttle and go, enjoying instant torque, quiet operation and zero tailpipe emissions. The bikes can be charged from a normal household power supply and LEKI estimates running costs at around $2.20 per 100 kilometres.

The current range includes the LEKI E1 Bolt, designed as an accessible everyday commuter, and the higher-performance E1 Surge. The Bolt offers a top speed of 100 km/h and a real-world range of around 100–110 km, while the Surge steps performance up considerably, with up to 160 km of range, a top speed of 170 km/h and an impressive 340 Nm of torque at the wheel. Both models are LAMS approved, making LEKI electric motorcycles accessible to learner and provisional riders as well as experienced motorcyclists.

Visitors to the Lions Bike Show will have an opportunity to discover how rapidly motorcycle technology is changing and to see what an Australian-assembled electric motorcycle can offer. community.

Mount Barker District Council

Mount Barker District Council plays an important role in helping community groups bring local events to life across the district. Through its Event Support Program, Council provides financial and in-kind assistance to eligible community organisations and event organisers, supporting events that encourage community participation, strengthen local communities and generate social and economic benefits for the region.

Support can extend well beyond direct funding. Council’s event staff provide practical advice and guidance, assist with event planning and documentation, undertake safety inspections, provide access to event equipment and training, and can assist with traffic management and promotion. Council also operates a broader range of grant programs supporting community, environmental, arts and infrastructure projects.

This support helps volunteer organisations deliver safe, successful and inclusive events while encouraging people to come together and enjoy everything the Mount Barker district has to offer.

The Battunga Country Lions Club gratefully acknowledges the support of Mount Barker District Council for the Lions Bike Show and its ongoing commitment to community events throughout our district.
